It was February 2012 when my sister discovered a guy on YouTube making funny videos about him playing scary games. As soon as I saw his Amnesia series, I fell in love with him. His name is PewDiePie. Then I started to be interested in YouTube and other vloggers, I discovered Marzia, SacconeJolys, and watched them everyday. Back then I didn't understand the princip of having a YouTube channel. I remember that I was really surprised that Jofee's job is making vlogs everyday. On Holidays 2013, I saw Zoe's video , where her and her brother were decorating their Christmas tree. My passion for YouTube rose rapidly and I started to watch almost every YouTuber out there.
In Summer 2013 I made my first video, bud I don't remember what it was (probably a haul or something like that :D). It was a crap and I have never posted it on YouTube. Since then I have been making beauty videos whenever my parents were not at home, but only for myself. None of the videos was perfect and I did not count with uploading them. I was making the videos just for fun, for me to watch it and delete afterwards. They were about 15 minutes long, and I did not have a computer to edit them on. I did not even have a tripod or something, the only proper thing I had was my digital camera. I have made about 15 videos, but I have never uploaded them and I just deleted them. I was worried about people's thoughts and hate, and I thought my parents'd think that I was crazy. My English wasn't the best as well, and I was not comfortable at speaking.
Then I got a proper tripod for Christmas 2013, and my sister got a laptop. Since my sister was interested in YouTube videos as well, I asked her if she wanted to make a video with me. However she thought it would be lame and that nobody would watch it. Now, 6 months later, we already have a break from school. Somehow I convinced my sister and we made a video together. This was a proper one. We really did try to make it as perfect as possible, and we were sure that we would upload it. After making so many videos, I felt like now it would happen. That I would finally upload a video. Since we are two, it is much easier to do the filming and editing. It would be also much easier to tell our parents. Ans it is not that awkward when there is somebody else you know, doing the same thing.
I am such a perfectionist, so I tried really hard to make this video as good as I could. (That is also the reason why I did not upload any of my previous videos- they were not perfect) I really cannot express how happy I am that me an my sister made a proper video together, and that I was brave enough to upload it.
I know that if I had uploaded all of the videos since 2013, I would have been much more ahead than where I am now. But still, it is better that I uploaded the video now than if I uploaded it next week.
